Grandma turned 89 this year. Her health is declining and her mind is slowly going. Her repetitive questions can drive you nuts and she has a knack for bringing you to tears with her harsh criticism. There's love there, though. She's a survivor. And no when I feel like I might lose my patience, I remember that's exactly what she's been doing since leaving Mexico. Her garden is beautiful. I prefer it during the springtime when everything is in full bloom and her rose garden lines the entire backyard. I took these today, its a warm summer evening and you can see the florals slowly weathering.
